In this guide, we will share the steps to set up the Mini PC Auto Power On feature on your mini PC.
Step 1.Press DEL when you turn on your mini PC to enter the BIOS screen.
Step 2. Enter "Advanced BIOS Features", as shown above, press "Enter" to enter the next screen, as shown below:
Step 3. Enter "Onboard Super IO Function" in the above figure, press "Enter" to enter the next step, as shown below:
Step 4. Use the down arrow key on your keyboard to navigate the cursor to the lower part of the screen as shown below. After that, locate the "Recover when AC power is lost" option.
Step 5. Press "Enter" to see the 3 options as shown below:
Explanation:
"Shutdown" means that the computer will remain shutdown after it is powered on;
"Power on" means that the computer will start automatically when it receives power without having to manually press the "POWER" switch on the minicomputer.
"Latest State" indicates that the computer will retain its last operating state when power is restored. If the Mini PC was turned off before the power failure, it will remain off. Conversely, if the Mini PC was turned on before the power failure, it will automatically turn on when power is restored.
Select the desired option from the above three options and press Enter to save the settings. With this configuration, pressing "F10" will display a window similar to the one shown in the attached figure:
Select OK to confirm and save the configuration changes and exit the setup. You can now unplug the power adapter from the Mini PC. Once reconnected, the Mini PC will automatically power on according to your configuration settings.
