This BIOS update mainly resolves SPDIF audio problem, if your computer does not have this problem, please do not perform this update or it may cause damage to your computer.
The OPTICAL port is used for audio, if you connect to a fiber optic speaker but there is no sound output, follow this guide to solve the problem.
At first, let’s making USB tool.
Step 1. Prepare a Windows mini PC with an empty USB flash drive, download the "update-tool" and "BIOS-file" files to the mini PC, and insert the empty USB flash drive into the USB port of the mini PC.
Step 2. Open the USB flash drive and locate the software "HPUSBDisk.exe" in the "update-tool" file, right click on "hpusbdisk.exe" and select "Run as administrator".
Step 3. Select the emplty USB flash drive from "Device" and check the "Create a DOS boot disk using the system files located at ...... system file located at to create a DOS boot disk" checkbox.
Step 4. click “…”icon and select “dos7SystemFile” in file “update-tool”, and then click “Start” icon.
Step 5, click “Yes”from the HPUSBFW window as below picture.
Step 6. Click “Yes” icon after finish.
Step 7. Go to file “GSKL4504“ within “BIOS-file”, then copy the program in the file to the USB flash drive, so the USB tool is finished.
Secondly, update BIOS now.
Step 8. Insert the USB flash drive you just made into the P03B-i5-7260U that needs to be updated, turn on the computer, continue to press "F11", then select the boot device USB DISK and click "Enter" to go to the next step.
Step 9. input “f”in the DOS system, and then wait till it finished
Now the BIOS already update successfully, and SPDIF audio runs fine.
Please note that if your system fails after updating the BIOS, just reinstall Win 10, the hardware will not be damaged during the above update steps, just sometimes the system will be corrupted.
