Download Debian11 ISO image
Download Rufus (image writer)
1, Download the Debian11 ISO image file: Index of /debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-dvd
2, Download Rufus: Index of /downloads (rufus.ie)
3, insert the U disk, and run Rufus. device just inserted into the U disk, click SELECT to select the Debian ISO image file, Partition scheme to select the GPT format, File system to select the NTFS format. Click START, recommended to write in ISO mode, click OK. tip: this operation will delete all the data in the USB flash disk, if there is important data in the USB flash disk, please backup in advance. Confirm and click OK.
Wait for writing, after successful writing, READY will be displayed in green, as shown in the following figure, that is, it has been successfully written, click CLOSE to exit.
4, Insert the Debian installation media (USB flash drive) into the USB port where you need to install Debian system, press the switch button and then quickly hit the F7 or F11 key (depending on the model) to enter the Boot Setup page, select the USB flash drive with UEFI: prefix and hit Enter to enter the installation wizard.
5, select install, according to the needs of the installation language, (in this tutorial to English in order to list) the country, keyboard layout and so on.
6, the system will automatically identify the network card, it is recommended to disconnect from the network connection to install, you can save the download time.
7, Enter the system host name and user name.
8, Set the root password and confirm it.
9, Create users and set user passwords.
10, Choose East> Guidld - use entire disk>Finish partitioning and urite changes to disk> All files in one partition (recommended for new users)> Finish partitioning and urite changes to disk> Yes> Start Installation
11, the system asks if you want to insert other installation media, select No. Ask if you want to select a network image, select No.
12, according to the need to select the required functions, it is recommended to check the web server and SSH server. system asks Install the GRUB boot loader to your primary drive? select Yes.
13, The following figure shows a successful installation. Remove the installation media and click Continue to reboot, after which you will be automatically taken to the Debian desktop.
