Solution for J1900 series models that are stuck on the Windows Welcome page after booting and cannot access the system desktop.
- Applicable models: J1900 series CPU models
- Failure phenomenon: After booting up the computer, you can't enter the Windows 10 desktop, and it keeps getting stuck in the welcome page.
The following is a screenshot of the problem.
Solution 1: Enter BIOS to set OS version
1. Disconnect the power adapter to initiate a forced power-off. Reconnect the power adapter, then press the switch button and promptly tap the Del key on the keyboard to access the BIOS Setup.
2. Within the BIOS interface, navigate to Advanced > Miscellaneous Configuration. Under "OS Selection," choose the version of the installed system, for example, select "Win10" for Windows 10 installation.
Once the settings are configured, press F10 on the keyboard to save and exit. Verify if the issue has been successfully resolved. If not, proceed to Solution 2.
Solution 2: Reinstall the operating system
If the fault remains after entering BIOS and setting the OS version, the operating system may be corrupted, try reinstalling the system.
