Overview: The GT-i7-10870H features a motherboard with a designated 3-pin PWRON1 connector. By default, the power-on self-start function is disabled. Follow the steps below to enable this function.
Tools Needed:
- 1*Cross screwdriver
- 1*5mm socket screwdriver
- 1*Pliers
Step 1: Remove all external peripherals from the computer and unscrew the side panel and rear panel screws marked in the diagram below.
Step 2: Using tweezers, extract the rear panel from the lock hole position. After removing the rear panel, apply force to push the computer case cover towards the rear panel direction to reveal the motherboard inside the case.
Step 3: Locate the "PWRON1" connector on the motherboard. Move the jumper on the "PWRON1" connector to "pins 2" and "pins 3" to activate the power-on self-start function.
