In daily usage, encountering issues where the computer fails to respond to the switch button and cannot boot normally may require troubleshooting. Follow the steps below to address this problem:
a. First, check whether the power adapter is receiving power and supplying normal power to the computer.
b. Next, disconnect all external devices (such as keyboard, mouse, external hard drive, USB flash drive, USB hub, etc.) and then attempt to power on the computer for testing.
c. The P12B is equipped with a 1-key CMOS recovery button on the panel, designed to restore CMOS parameters. In many cases, unresponsiveness when pressing the power button is related to CMOS parameter errors. To perform the recovery, ensure that the power adapter is supplying power to the computer. Use a pair of pliers, a mobile phone card needle, or a similar sharp tool to insert and hold down the CMOS recovery button for 5-10 seconds. If the switch indicator light flashes, it indicates successful recovery.
